How to Order
Our website has been designed to be simple and straight forward to use and navigate, hence the lack of flashing images, banners etc. However, if you require assistance at any time, please call us on 01628 819500 and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have, assist with any technical queries or take your order over the telephone. Alternatively, if your query is less urgent you can email us at shop@acstech.co.uk.
Our site has been designed primarily for Business users, therefore the prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. We currently only sell to customers in the UK.
Navigation
There are 2 main areas of navigation.
The footer menu at the bottom contains links to all our help pages and documentation such a Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and Returns information.
The left side of the screen shows the product categories and also contains a link to the Home page. To find your product click on the relevant category then use the Refine dropdown box to filter to your selection. Click on the Part Number to view further information on a particular product.
Ordering
To order a product, click the Add to Cart button. A message will appear to confirm the addition to your shopping cart (please note that this may be blocked by pop-up blocking software but does not stop items being added to your order.)
Continue to add products until you have completed your order. A summary of your cart is shown on the right of the screen. To view your cart at any time click on Checkout on the right of the screen.
When you have completed your order click on Checkout. This will display your current order details. From here you can amend quantities, remove items from your cart and enter any voucher codes you have.
You may also save your cart and come back to it later. To save your cart you will need to login, or register if it is your first visit to the site.
Please note the Order total displayed here does not include any delivery or VAT charges.

Shipping Information
You will now be asked to complete your delivery details. Either select a previously saved address from the dropdown box or enter a new address.
There is a checkbox at the bottom to check if the same address is to be used for billing purposes. Please note that the billing address must be the address that the credit card is registered at in order for your transaction to be successful. Click Checkout to continue.
Order Summary
The next screen summarises your order including delivery address, VAT and delivery charges. Please check your order carefully to make sure you have the correct products. Add any Special Instructions for your order and select your method of payment from the dropdown box. Please note that only existing customers with a current Trading Account may order with a PO number. If you would like to open a trading Account a form can be found here. If you would prefer to order via the telephone or fax, select Phone/Fax and this will give you a page to print out ready to call or fax to us.
Click Checkout to continue through to our secure payment pages.
Billing Information
If your delivery address is different to your billing address you will now be asked to complete these details. Please ensure that this matches the address your Credit Card Statements are sent to. Click Checkout to continue.
Payment Information
If you have a discount voucher the voucher code can be entered here and the order value will be recalculated. Click Apply.
Check the billing address and order total.
Complete your credit card details or enter your PO number
Click Complete to process your transaction and send your order.
If you have paid by credit card a summary of your transaction will be shown. We will process your order and your goods will be dispatched. If you have elected to order by Phone or Fax your order will be displayed so that you can print it and send it on to us. You will also receive an e-mail confirming your transaction.
What we do next
When we receive your order we will check your order details and confirm stock. If we have any queries we will contact you straight away.
When your goods are ready to ship we will process your credit card transaction. We will then dispatch your goods via courier for next working day delivery. You can track your order via the acsshop website. A direct link will be in your confirmation email.
We aim to ship goods for next day delivery but this is dependant on stock levels and the time that we receive your order. If we cannot ship your goods within 48 hours we will inform you when to expect delivery and you will have the option to order an alternative item or cancel your order. Goods placed in one order may be dispatched seperately.
Site Security
We take the security of our customers details very seriously. Our Website is based on software by LaGarde. It uses high level encryption to ensure that customers data is stored safely and securely. We do not keep any details of our customers credit cards or payment information other than that which we must do by law or as part of our agreement with our bank and our payment service provider. Our Customers may request to see the details that we hold on them at any time and details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
Our Payment Service Provider is WorldPay, one of the worlds leading internet payment gateways and part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. All our payment pages are secured using SSL and our Thawte Certificate validitity can be checked by clicking on the certificate symbol which appears on all of our pages.
